The April 3 Bingo Jackpot Friday at HOYY's 90-Ball Hall paid out a ₱485,720 pool across 6 winning cards between 20:00 and 20:37 PH. For players who weren't in the room, here's what the night actually looked like.
The pool and the split
The Friday pool starts at ₱500,000 every week, with un-won amount rolling to the next Friday. This week's pool was ₱500k flat (no roll-over from last week). 218 players entered the 20:00 room; the pool split rule is: full-house first card wins 60%, second card 20%, remaining 20% split across cards 3-10 proportionally by pattern speed.
Named winners (with consent)
Top card went to player handle "jonasdiaz_mnl" (KYC'd Manila, age 34) — full house hit on call 52, 17 minutes into the session, taking ₱212,580. Second card went to "chona_qz" with ₱76,700. The remaining four paid ₱49,360 on average to cards belonging to handles we're not publishing.
What this actually tells you
Two things. First, at a 218-player room and ₱500k pool, the expected return per ₱50 entry over a long rolling average is roughly ₱114 (this is math, not luck). Variance is high — most weeks you lose ₱50, occasionally you win ₱200k. If that's what you want, fine. If you're thinking of it as income, stop.
Second, the pool size at HOYY Friday bingo is competitive for the PH market but not the biggest. If pool size is your main criterion, you might prefer a multi-site network room elsewhere. We run Friday bingo for the community aspect more than the expected value.
April 10 pool
Pre-registered 156 players at time of writing. Pool guaranteed ₱500k, with possible add-ons from sponsor if registrations cross 250. Entry windows close 19:58 PH each Friday. Same Jili-hosted 90-Ball Hall.
